THIS VIRTUAL GALLERY IS RUN BY THE ART COLLECTIVE "THE FORCE 11".
"LOOK AT MY WHALE" IS AN ONGOING ART PROJECT THAT WILL FEATURE WORK FROM DIFFERENT PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD, EACH WORKING ON THE SAME THEME BUT IN ANY MEDIA THEY WANT TO.
THE TOPICS ARE ANNOUNCED AND A DEADLINE IS SET.
ONCE THEY ARE DONE THEY WILL ALL BE POSTED ON THIS SITE.
WE ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW "ASSIGNMENTS".
DONT HESIATE TO LET US KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO BE "TALKED" ABOUT ON THIS BLOG.

yes it did along with 2 other contributions, it is going to quite a diverse mix this time... keep on sending dem files... but u can also wait until the deadline..

sooo. i wanna invite you to contribute to my project.
i m workin on my final thesis for university. i do study architecture. so i m planning a project. caus of my love for the arts, i decided to do an arts centre, cultural walk, something like that. it is gonna be a public space, with pavillions for exhibition. There is gonna be plenty of space inside and outside. There is gonna be space which is roofed but open walk through for public. [for all who know vienna the site is @naschmarkt, between kettenbrückengasse and cafe rüdigerhof (end of wienflussüberbauung)= now used as car parking space.] also there are gonna be studios for young artists. so i would like to create a new topic in here to make you contribute in my gallery. i need material that is able to be put into my 3d model of my building(s). so canvases are great, 3d models are even better. i know this is not so easy to be done, but it would be very good to have some room installations or sculptures too. no stress, the deadline should be somewhere in june or july i d say. maybe one of my boys in here is gonna help me to set up this topic ... but you can also contact me directly for questions ... jona@gmx.at or on myspace/jojastar or on skype with jojastar. i would love to have some new media which probably also would help me to set up my exhibition space ... if you have some ideas on what you re missing in conventional exhibition spaces, you re very welcome to share them with me. hope this inspires you and so you ll inspire me.
